The Southern Visit

The Atlanta Davis household had the pleasure of Mom visiting for a number of days. Due to a certain cat allergy-there was massive cleaning. Fan blades were removed and dusted, all furniture was moved, baseboards cleaned with Pine Sol. The bets were against Mom. We thought we were fighting mother nature. And you know who wins that battle. But Mom survived the whole trip with two black cats.

We all had a fun time. I think Mom is addicted to flying First class . Not that that is a bad thing. We ended up at a dive sports bar watching the US Team in the World Cup. Mom pretended the food was good-but the US Team fought back to tie the game. Next we went to High Art Museum to see an exhibit of spectacular vintage cars. One of the highlights of the trip was visiting Aunt Bit in North Carolina. It was good to see her, even with her diminished state she still had a great sense of humor.

the weather was blazing hot mid nineties everyday . The joy of living in Georgia.

  2. I thought your house was always so sparkling clean. Thanks for all your hard work, which paid off in making me feel very comfortable, nary a sneeze. Tho I did feel the cats glowering at me from behind their closed door. Hope they don't carry a grudge.

It was a wonderful visit - I wish we could get together more often.
